"Out of much frustration I sought out IMI.  I was familiar with Mrs. Bey through my church summer program and had heard of her and her families' success with homeschooling. Though I had concerns about taking my daughter out of public school, I felt an urging pull to do so. Needless to say, I contacted Mrs. Bey and I asked her,  "Do you have a heart for what you are doing?"  Her response was,  "Yes."   My husband and I went to meet with her and Mr. Bey and the rest of the story has been nothing but success.  My daughter attended IMI for 9 years.   Her grades turned around tremendously.  She became more focused, disciplined and became an excellent student.  Before IMI, she would become frustrated and could not task herself without assistance.  After a few months, she was doing her homework in the car on our ride home. "In May 2022 , our son graduated from high school. A journey I wasn’t sure he would get to a little more than 2 years. At the start of the pandemic, public schools were shut down. Like many schools across the country, they were not prepared. We were told they would go virtual and be in contact with their teachers and assignments would be given. That did not happen. There were all kinds of issues. Not to mention, the bullying from students and the intimidation and racism of others. We were at our wits end. I wanted to remove him from that environment, but where could he go so late in the school year? I was talking to a good a friend one day about the problems he was having in school. She said she knew someone who had a school, she got me the information and I contacted them. I spoke to the Beys about his current situation. They scheduled an interview with us. Me, dad and the student. Long story short, he was accepted. God answers prayers."

" Our son was told he had to put in the work at IMI, because he had gotten behind. His teachers created a curriculum just for him. It wasn’t easy, but he started improving. His self-esteem, focus, study habits and testing all improved. If you want your child to be educated, nurtured, and motivated by caring and dedicated educators., I recommend IMI. They have some of the best teachers and leaders I’ve ever seen in a school environment. Mr. & Mrs. Bey and the other teachers pour into your child. They don’t give up on them. They guide your kids with a firm hand of love. Our son has a foundation and is so much better because of their guidance. He loves his school, the students and his teachers.
